Getting ready for Easter......
this is an easy way to grow your own Easter grass perhaps for a
center piece or a window decoration.

we used a glass container I my neighbor gave to me (thanks Leanne :), filled the container with small pebbles on the bottom and potting mix, we added some whole gain wheat, barley or anything like it, the only thing important is that it is not crushed. We covered it with a thin layer of dirt and watered it, just wait a few days and your grass will grow.
I love using glass containers, because you can see the roots too this is great for kids too, it is fun seeing the grass grow a little every day.

recycled candle

... do you ever wonder what to do with the glasses that Glade candles come in?
I bought some at Christmas time and after the candles were gone I did not want to toss the glasses in the trash. I saw some great fabric covered candles and that gave me the idea for this candle cover.
The bunny picture is a freebie from the net. I embroidered the bunny picture, then added a daisy lace border and closed the cover with a fabric circle on the bottom.
I love the look when the tea candle is lit and you can see the bunny picture in the candle light.
This is the first part of my Easter decoration

valentines treats

this year I was a little late getting the treats ready, there were ready just in time.
These boxes were made by using a scalloped envelope sizzix die.

...touch of spring........
I had a lot of fun last weekend making bags in lots of different colors. I tried the satin fabric for the fist time and I love the result, it is classy and simple.

I can't wait until it gets a little warmer outside, and spring is finally here, when I saw this fabric I thought ....Spring....I used it to make this I-phone bag, the embroidery file is from Embroidery Garden, but I altered it a little, because it was a little too short for the phone.
