**candy cane ornaments**

... just finished are some more candy cane holder ornamentsthis pink little reindeer would be perfect for a little girl


or how about a lizzard climbing down a candy cane, my boys liked this one

this polar bear is great and can be very easily changed by using a different color for the scarf


I'm making lots of these for family and friends.

Layered felt star tutorial

This is a tutorial for a layered felt star using sizzix cut outs.
(it can be modified to use any star pattern to be cut out by scissors)
You need:

*fabric scraps (red)

*fusable interfacing

*white felt

*red buttons
*string or twine to attach botton and for hanger
*sizzix die for Stars or scissors to cut out star

*sewing machine or needle and thread


1. iron fusable interfacing onto the red fabric





2. cut out stars (larger white felt, smaller red fabric) using sizzix machine


3. layer stars and sew along the edge of red fabric star


4. attach button using twine, make a double knot


5. lay star onto another layer of white felt and sew along the edge of wite felt star



6. Cut out star - leave about 1/8 inch edge


7. attach twine as hanger using a needle





you are done ** enjoy this ornament and share it with friends and family, we love to send these ornaments along with our chirstmas presents.

Star Ornaments

To the kids they are Ninja stars,
to me they are this years handmade ornaments by the kids.
die Kinder nennen sie Ninja-sterne, fuer mich ist es der selbergebastelte Baumschmuck fuer dieses Jahr.


These 4-pointed stars are easy and fun to make.
sie sind einfach nachzuarbeiten .
Here are the instructions how to make the star:
Hier gibts die Anleitung, wir haben ein Loch in eine der Zacken gestanzt ein eyelet befestigt und ein rotes Band durchgezogen:

We punched a hole in one of the points, added an eyelet and a red ribbon
